Strawberry Jam

Ingredients:

Note: These can be tailored to however much jam you want to make, just remember that the weight of the strawberries and the weight of the sugar should be the same. This recipe is from the The Real Dolls House video linked below.
  • 7 lbs strawberries (hulled)
  • 7 lbs granulated sugar

How To:

Hull the strawberries and place them in a pre-serving pan with the sugar. Cook over a gentle heat and stir constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Mash fruit if desired. Boil quickly until a little sets when tested on a cold plate, then pour into hot, dry jars and cover immediately. 

Note: Pre-warming the jars in the oven helps avoid temperature shock.
