Refrigerator Pickles

4c sugar, 4c vinegar (5%), 1/2c salt, 1 1/3 tsp tumeric, 1 1/3 tsp pickling spices, 1 1/3 tsp dry mustard, 1 onion, cucumbers.

How To:

Mix all but the onion and cucumbers. Place 1 slice of onion in each jar. Wash and cut cucumbers. Pack jars. Pour sugar & vinegar syrup over cucumbers. Put on lids and store the jars in the refrigerator. Keeps for 3 months. Store for 5 days before using pickles.
