Homemade Dish Soap recipe from www.countryrose.com. 2c Liquid Castille Soap A few drops of Essential oil* 1/2c Water Method: Combine two cups of liquid castille soap w/ 1/2c water. Add a few drops of essential oil (lemon essential oil or D-limonene (orange smell) to provide grease cutting capabilities plus a scent) Can add Tea Tree Essential oil for anti-bacterial properties as well. Shake or mix well and place in a squeeze bottle. Shake the soap well before using. Adding fresh lemon (or vinegar from experience) could cloud the soap and possibly make it too thin.
