Apple Butter

• 5lbs apples, cored, peels on
• 2tbs cinnamon
• 3/4 tsp ginger, ground
• 1/4+1/8 tsp cloves, ground
• 1/4 + 1/8 tsp allspice, ground
• 1/4+1/8 tsp nutmeg
• 1/4+1/8 tsp salt
• 1/4 -1/2c brown sugar
• 1/4c apple juice

How To

Add all to crock pot. Stir till mixed. Cook on low for 10 hours. Blend in blender. Pour back into crock pot and cook for 30 min (with the lid off) to thicken the sauce. Poor into small jars. If storing put in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
