Fruit or Berry Pie
Ingredients:
2 pie crusts (I get the premade frozen kind), 1 bag of fruit of your choice, 1/2c sugar, 2 Tb flour (optional)
How To:
Mix fruit and 1/2c sugar (set aside a small amount to sprinkle on top.) Add 2 Tb flour if the fruit mixture needs thickening. Spoon mixture into one pie crust.
For the top crust: ball up and re-roll the crust, cut slices and carefully move them to create a lattice, or upend the pie crust onto the pie and flatten the best you can. Press the edges of crusts together. Use rolled dough and a knife or cookie cutter to decorate if desired. Sprinkle remaining sugar on top.
Preheat oven to 425 and put pie in the oven to cook in preheating oven for 15 min. Lower heat to 375 and cook until crust is golden brown (about 25 minutes.) Let pie cool. Serve.
