Face Routine

I have never been a diligent carer for my skin. However, as menopause brings my reality closer to becoming a full fledged raisin… I have been forced to get my tush in gear. Here is the best routine (for cheap) that I have found. This would be good for all ages except for the Remedy skin care. Do not put strong ingredients on young skin. It does not need it, per my research, and in fact can hurt it. The plan is Wash, treat (for older skin), protect. I rely heavily on CereVe products as they are hypoallergenic and frangrence free. They are only products that don’t upset my skin.

Top Tip: Use a clean washcloth each time you wash your face.

Wash

Ponds Fragrance-Free Moisturizing Cleanser I use in my evening shower and then follow it up with the CereVe cleansers below.

CereVe Renewing SA Cleanser I use morning and evening. This seems to remove redness from the skin and even skin tone. It is (I believe) only .5% Salicylic acid, so it is mild yet still roto-rooters out pours quite nicely. There are other CereVe cleansers if you want to avoid Salicylic acid.

Treat

Remedy Super Stacked Assortment . This is a brand created by a dermatologist. I alternate the face products with a day off in between each.

Cereve Skin Renewing Eye Cream I use a rice size amount twice a day.

Rosebud Salve Lip Balm in a tin. I use as needed.

Protect

CereVe Moisturizing Cream for nighttime.

CereVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion with SPF for morning.

NOTE: if you are vertically challenged arrange your bathroom so you can sit as much as possible and take frequent breaks. Nothing says you have to do everything all at once. Take breaks and lay down.
