Daily Structure

  • 2-hours reading (alternate books of interest and books from the reading list)
  • 2-hours on mathematics
  • 1-hour writing

Extra Curricular

I am a firm believer in a solid religious foundation and two extracurricular activities. One activity should be artistic and one physical. This is trickier for the COVID-conscious families. I encourage you to investigate online opportunities (Outschool etc.) and any local homeschooling groups.

For example: Clarinet lessons and karate or Drawing classes and Ballet. Once a child has settled in to something, help them stick with it through proficiency. Ideally they leave the nest with skills that are formidable (able to teach a class or offer lessons or earn a living (to any degree) with said skill).

Requirements

REQUIRED

  • Curriculum from Robinson Curriculum ($195 for full CD package) or $36 annually for online package.
  • A binder or journal to log time spent on each activity.
  • The math curriculum of your choice ( CTC Math, Teaching Textbooks or textbooks from Saxon Math, Singapore Math, or Abeka.)
